Support Your Local Farmer: Veggie & Fruit Boxes
Community Supported Agricultural Programs in Morgan Hill

A great way to support your local farmer and get fresh-picked, local, seasonal (and mostly organic!) fruits and vegetables is to join a Community Supported Agricultural (CSA) program in Morgan Hill. Here are three options available in our area:

Coyote Canyon Farms: Coyote Canyon Farm and Ranch is located next to the Jackson Oaks subdivision. They grow a diverse array of vegetables on an acre of hillside above Coyote Creek. Their goal is to sustainably grow food for themselves and the community – peppers, squash, eggplant, cucumbers, beans, chard, tomatoes, and much more. Starting in late July, they will be selling weekly and bi-weekly CSA boxes for $25, along with fresh fruit and pastured eggs for an additional charge.

One Acre Farm, located just outside Morgan Hill's city limits, was started in 2010. At One Acre Farm, Gal and Michelle grow dozens of varieties of vegetables and fruits. Members receive a bag of fresh, organic produce delivered to their home or office every Wednesday. The minimum subscription is one month, and the cost is $25/week. Each delivery contains 8-10 items and a newsletter with recipes. The items change with the seasons. To sign up or find out more information, please fill out a registration form or like their Facebook page.

Timptations: Chiala Farms located in the Southeast Quadrant has organized a fruits and vegetables box program! This new CSA program is called TIMptations (after Tim Chiala) and has a variety of options to suit people's produce needs.
